Picture
Avatar can only be described in one way: HOLY CRAP!!! This movie was visually the best piece of cinema I have ever seen. I saw this movie in 3D and it wasn't the 3D that came out at you. It was different. It was a type of 3D that visually looked like the world was all around you. It was incredible. Avatar is about an ex-marine named Jake Sully (Worthington) whose twin brother died and now he is going to the planet Pandora for the Avatar program because the scientists there need someone who looks like his brother. His job is to make friends with the Na'vi so in the end he can talk them into moving their home so the humans can get the unobtanium under the tree. Instead, Jake falls in love with Neytiri (Saldana), a native, and then he helps to protect the entire tribe from the humans with the help of Dr. Grace Augustine (Weaver), Trudy Chacon (Rodriguez), and Norm Spellman (Moore). Now, I went to see this with the most annoying group of people who laughed at the slightest joke and yelled Yaaah at ever battle sequence. But the movie was so good I blocked it all out. If I had any advice to give, I would say to get the full experience see it in 3D in theaters. I think everyone in the movie was cast perfectly in their roles and played their roles to the fullest. I truly think Sam Worthington has the potential to be the biggest star in Hollywood. This movie has truly set the standard for visual effects. I loved this movie so much. This is a must see movie. Go see this. I coax, I impel, I urge you with all my power to see this movie.
