Inglourious Basterds
Director: Quentin Tarantino
Actors: Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, Michael Fassbender, Eli Roth, Diane Kruger, Til Schweiger, Melanie Laurent

Picture
While Quentin Tarantino is a very good director, and while I liked this movie, it was not like his other movies. Actually, it was probably the least violent of all his films. There was not as much blood in it either. Inglourious Basterds is about two groups of people planning an assassination attempt on the German high command. In the film, though, neither group knows about the other or the other's attempts. Shosanna Dreyfus (Laurent) is a French ovie theater owner who is going to host a German war propaganda film. Lt. Aldo Raine (Pitt) is an American who is the leader of the Basterds, a group of Jewish-Americans who go to Germany to kill Nazis. By the way, this takes place from 1941 to 1944. Now, like any other Tarantino movie, it is a great story wih good actors. And if there is any good acting in it, it is Christopah Waltz as Hans Landa. Best Supporting Actor nomination indeed. Though not the best fil of the year, it was entertaining. But if you don't like hearing a different language and reading subtitlesfor about if not more than half a film, don't watch this. Though I thoroughly enjoyed it.
